Cityworks Server TM Cityworks Server represents Azteca Systems' next generation architecture. Re-designed from-the-ground-up, Cityworks Server is a state-of-the-art, browser-based system to manage assets, issue service requests and work orders, perform inspections, and manage customer needs.
Designed for maintenance and operations, customers can utilize GIS functionality while managing and performing maintenance operations and investigating and resolving requests for service – in a web-based, enterprise environment. Cityworks Server incorporates a palette of tools, tabs, and links in a highly customizable environment, allowing Cityworks to be deployed as an Intranet application across a department, division or the entire organization.
Cityworks Server is built within a .NET2 architecture and based on ESRI's ArcGIS Server 9.2. The system design allows for centrally managed servers and features a GIS-based asset inventory combined with a maintenance management system that operates directly on that asset inventory. With seamless integration between service requests and work management, a single point of contact kicks off a complex series of data transactions starting with a customer call.
Cityworks Server includes many distinctive capabilities above and beyond a core work management system. The system supports an array of business processes for work orders, inspections, and service requests in a security-enabled environment. These along with full map interaction, optimized geo-centric asset inventory, maintenance history, and reporting functions are all available to system users. The user interface is fully configurable, designed so that the entire web-based application, - including screens, data forms, and data fields - is customizable with respect to display styles, layout and viewing and editing capabilities.
